    The Gallery Row Condos are in the center of the New Orleans Warehouse close to Magazine Street and next door to the Childerns Museum on Julia Street. The 48 units are in three different building. The first floor is commercial condos used as art galleries, the lobby and garage parking. There is an additional lot on Magazine Street. Almost all the condos have parking.

     With the condos in three different building you are going to have several different looks.  The two older building are the front two and are going to have the warehouse feel of higher ceilings,larger windows,exposed brick and beams.  The units in the back were built much later.

      There are several courtyards on the first and second levels of the complex.  There is a small gym on the first floor near the entrance to the secure garage parking. The rooftop pool and deck is large with really some great views of the city day or night. Shared grills,tables,chairs,plants are for all to enjoy.

    Most of the condos are one bedroom units but there are a few small tow bedroom units. The units will vary depending onwhere the units are located in the building. The front and back units in the two historic buildings are going to have the best views and get the most natural light.

    The central location makes it an easy walk to the Convention Center, RiverWalk Outlet Mall, The French Quarter, St. Charles Avenue, The Superdome, World War II Museum, and the New Orleans Arena.

The Gallery Row Condos in the New Orleans Warehouse District were apartment conversions in 2004  with 48 units on 4 floors with the units being on floors 2 to 4. The first floor is taken up with a parking garage, small gym, courtyard and entryway. The newly renovated units feature stainless appliances, stone counter tops, wood floors, parking, small pool,fitness center, and a great roof top view of the city. Within walking distance to the CBD attractions. The units will give you the warehouse look with large windows, 14 ft. ceilings, exposed masonry that is so much in demand for the warehouse district. Most of the 2 bedrooms are on the upper floors and all sold in the 220k plus range, some having 2 baths. The one bedrooms varied in size, view, and of course price. The best units have street and courtyard views. The masjority of the units are one bedroom units.

Some sold without renovations but most have been remodeled. The resales have been brisk due to a great location and the fact most units have parking.
 TheCommon areas contain courtyards and a very nice rooftop area with a small plastic pool. You are near Magazine and Julia with a easy walk to all attractions. Several  reasons to like Gallery Row is that most units come with garage or lot parking. The location is central to the Warehouse District. The common areas are well maintined and the condos are very private and quiet.

Open spaces, courtyards and an abundance of potted plants give Gallery Row a tropical look 

 


Unique open spaces on several levels. There is a nice roof top sitting area with a small pool and Bar B Que area. You get a nice feel without being crowded in the relitively small condo association in the center of everything. There is also a small exercise room on the first floor.This will be hard to duplicate at these prices. Buying one of these entitles you to a couple of steaks, bottle of wine, and a case of beer. I will even cook them and stay for the dinner. Eric
