The Lofts Condos at 402 Julia Street
The condo association has 24 units. There are 6 two bedroom units and 18 small one bedroom units. The entire first floor is an art gallery and entrance to the Lofts Condos from Julia Street. The Building was converted into condos in 2006 from apartments.
Parking is available on a contract basis in the lost behind the building. None of the units own a parking spot. Many of the units were upgraded in 2006 while some unit were purchased in "as is" and now would be very dated.
The gated entrance is on Julia Street next to the Childerns Museum. The nicest thing about the units facing outside is the large windows with city views. The streets are wide here which enhances the natural light and city view. The units in the rear are not nearly as nice when it comes to views. Most of the one bedroom units are small with most being under 550 sq.ft.
The Lofts are at the corner of Tchoupitoulas Street and Julia Street. Emeril's is across the street. It's got a great location in the Warehouse District.
There is a small roof top viewing area with a plastic pool. Meaing its too small to swim in but its there to cool off.. 2lia
