The 1441 Jackson Avenue condos are at the edge of the New Orleans Garden District at corner of Prytania. This is a block from St. Charles Avenue and the streetcar line. You are three blocks from Magazine Street.

The five story building is a 1970's condo complex with mostly two bedroom and two bath units in the 28 condos. The units have garage parking on the first floor. There is a lobby and elevators on first with security. A swimming pool and courtyard is on the right side of the building.

The two bedroom units are about 1100 sq. ft. and the one bedrooms are about 700 sq. ft. of living. The units have 8 ft ceilings which were the norm in the 1970's construction. Many of the units are dated and that means you get more space for your money than most other associations in the immediate area.

The complex has very little turnover and tends to be filled with full time residents. The building and common areas are well kept and the condo fees are moderate for what you get.
