The Lafayette Oaks Condos at 1436 Jackson Avenue are ideally located. There are 16 larger units ranging in size from about 1800 sq.ft. of living area to a little over 2000 sq. ft. There is a gated garage for parking next door. Each unit has a storage closet next the the parking area. There are stairs and an elevator to the five floors.
All the units open to an atrium with stairs down to the courtyard and to the front gate. The secure gate is manned by a full time attendant. It's very unusual for condos of this size to have some many amenities. You will have higher condo fees here since the units are large, you have a large garage and some well kept up common areas. I am guessing these were turned into condos around the year 2000.
Since that time many of the units have been upgraded. The all have large rooms with plenty of windows for natural light and exterior views. The bathrooms and bedrooms are large and each unit has plenty of storage with full size laundry rooms. It's like living in a home.
The Condos open to atrium and are steps to the elevator.
The condos have a nice courtyard behind the building next to garage. Just walk out the front door to atrium and down the stairs.

A real neighborhood feel for the Lafayette Oaks Condos
Talk about a great location. You are almost at the corner of Prytania and a block from St. Charles Avenue. You are four blocks to Magazine Street where you find many local stores, shops and restaurants. Catch the street to go downtown and Uptown.
You can stroll through history as you walk through the Garden District and along Jackson Avenue.
