The New Orleans Warehouse District Neighborhood
Many Things to Do and See...

The New Orleans Warehouse District is home to many sites and sounds of New Orleans. Its easy to see on the map that the Warehouse District extends from the French Quarter to the Expressway to the Mississippi River Bridge.

The New Orleans Warehouse is home to many condos that are used for second homes and people wanting to live in an urban area of Old Warehouses that have been converted to condos over the past 15 years.
Many people love the Warehouse feel of these old buildings that once warehouses for manufacturing and storage connected to the Port of New Orleans and the Mississippi River. The features include high ceilings, wood floors, large windows, natural light and some nice street views. Second Homers love the fact they can park their car and walk or catch the streetcar to most places that they want to go.
The vast majority of places to live in the Warehouse District are condos. Most of the condos were conversions from prior rentals that were converted old warehouse uses. There are condos at the higher end that were built as condos like 625 St. Charles, One River Place, and Mills Row.
