All units will have at least one designated spot, some units will have two. The prices will range from the low 300k range to 400k+ depending on the size and condition of the units. The units range in size from 1600 sq  to the larger units of 2400 sq. ft. Your condo fees range from $600 to $1000 and include exterior maintenance, insurance, water , amenities such as boat docks for temporary docking, security gates, security guard, pool, club house. This land is leased for the Levee Board and that rent is included in the condo fee. Many units have been updated, fireplaces, high ceilings in den, larger kitchens, elevators, and balconies. Views and location are special and probably cant be duplicated at this price.

Marina towers offers 77 units of one and two bedroom units ranging in size form 800 sq ft. to 150 sq. ft. and larger. The building is 19 years old so many of the condos have been renovated and updated. the prices will range form 250k up depending on bedrooms and size. There are very few units have sold in the last couple of years so these numbers may be off. The main attraction is the view of the lake and marina. The better views are going to get a better price. Features include 24 hour security, balconies, parking, large master bedrooms and living areas overlooking Lake Pontchartrain facing northward. The view are fabulous and that is one of the reasons few become availiable. There are owners that use it as a weekend getaway and pass them on to their families. You can walk to lakeview shopping and never use your car on a weekend, just hop in your boat


A new 8 unit conversion worth mentioning are the Lake Breeze Condos at 209 Opal which has just been converted and totally renovated. These are flats selling in the 219k and 233k range across from Lakeshore Drive. The other is Marseilles Condos at 232 Lake Marina which are all large pent houses starting in the 700k and up range. The living areas are over 3000 sq. ft. per unit and are only a few years old. The prices were before people added anything they wanted.  Buy one of these and Patti and Eric can buy a boat to visit you. 


Lakeview , the Neighborhood New Orleans 70124


Lakeview, the neighborhood is a small 1950's town next to a big city. You are close to everything, The CBD, Lake Pontchartrain, City Park the marina, running paths, bike riding, grocery stores and appreciating property values. The residents have voted it a special taxing district for extra  security so it is very safe. There are no Wal Marts, Mega Stores and you don't have to get on I-10 to go places. The area is growing in value with many homes being upgraded , new homes being built where old ones were, and some nice town homes being built in the area. The demand has been so good that the area of Lakeview is expanding.
