The Metroview Condos were converted from apartments in 2006 into condos. All the kitchens, baths, and the units were totally removed at that time. Over the years owners have made changes with many installing wood floors and other upgrades.
The Condo fees have always been among the lowest in the New Orleans Metro area. The cost is spread over 210 units in buildings that were renovated in 2006. The fees cover water, insurance, upkeep of the common areas, management fees, exterior upkeep, termite contracts, parking and trash.
The amenties include gated assigned parking with guest spots for your friends and spouses. There are 2 large swimming pools and courtyards plus some nice common areas. The secure entrance is in front by the mail room and managers office. There is a nice sun deck overlooking pool above the gym in the center of the complex. There is a laundry for large loads in the middle of the complex.
Love the fact that each unit either has a patio or balcony off the living area. The first floor units have the patios. The living rooms are large by Metairie condo standards. You are protected by the rain as all the units have covered entrances.
There will be about 5 basic floor plans. There will be one bedroom flats and one bedroom townhouse styles. There are two bedroom flats and two bedroom town home style condos. There are a few three bedroom units. All the townhouse style units will be on the second and third floors. Some units will have large storage lockers for whatever you want. These were sold as extras.
The developer put in nice kitchens with granite counters, custom cabinets, brushed nickel appliances that looks out into the living area. Bathrooms are normal size.
Each condo unit has a balcony or small courtyard/patio
Walkways between the buildings are common areas to enjoy....
There are 2 large pools between the 3 buildings, plus courtyards
