Starting your New Orleans Condo Search

      The best way to start your search is to get familiar with the New Orleans Market.  The best way to do this is to sign up to receive all the new listings as they come on the market.  You will see when they sell or go under contract.  You can ask me questions on the neighborhoods, prices, conditions ect. as you look. I will have a chance to see many of these condos on our broker's tour when the are listed and held open for agents to view. 

     I have been in so many of the complexes in the New Orleans Condo Market, I will have an idea if it fits your criteria.  The better things do sell quicker.  Many time I will also know things about to come on the market through our networking with other agents.  

    You will want to know the price range and what you can afford. It is best to talk to a local lender with condo lending if you are going to get a loan. 

     You will want to know what neighborhood best suits your needs. Many buyers will change locations as we begin looking as better buys may be in areas that they do not know that well.

     You will want to know about size and bedrooms.  Parking is going to be an issue in some areas, I can give you help with that.

      The style of condo is a big factor. Do you want a historic feel in an old building or neighborhood or do you want it in a larger complex with amenities such as courtyards, pools or gyms.
