4610 Prytania Street
Great Neighborhood Condo
New Orleans, Uptown
Second Floor Corner Condo, One of Four in Building
The condo located at 4610 Prytania is a great example of a neighborhood condo in New Orleans. Its nestled in an expensive Historic Uptown where the homes are in great demand. This building was once a four plex before being turned into a condo. Most of the historic features were left in tact and you have plenty of room.
The second floor condo is over 1100 sq. ft. of living with features that people want in an historic condo. Among them are high ceilings, wood floors, natural light , large rooms. Its a 2 bedroom and two bath unit with tow baths in the hallway.
The kitchen is large and there is also a breakfast area as you leave the kitchen. The full size washer and dryers are in the closet in the kitchen.
There are no carpets in the condo. You have at least 2 windows in every room for the natural light. Its faces the morning sun.
There is also plenty of closet space in each bedroom and several large closets in the hall. This is the largest of the four units. It does not have a parking spot like the other three units. Street parking is very easy in the area and most of the time you can park right out front.
The condo fees are very moderate with most of the fee going to pay for insurance. In a small association its easy to know who s there. There has only been one other sale in the last 4 years. People tend to stay longer in neighborhood condos.
The reasons people stay is that they become part of the neighborhood. They enjoy walking to a lot of places. St. Charles Ave. and Magazine Street are blocks away. You are halfway between Audubon Park and the Central Business District.
