The French Quarter is only blocks away. Gallery Row is a 48 unit condo complex that is actually 3 separate building that are very quiet.
The condo can be a corporate condo with the seller paying the electricity and cable for around $200 per month more. The landlord will consider renting the unit for as short as several months.
Gallery row has a roof top deck with small pool. The pool is for cooling of and not for swimming. There is a small work out room downstairs on the first floor. The secure entrance is entered by code.
