Executive Condo
909 Lafayette Street #9
New Orleans Warehouse District

Corner of Lafayette and Barone Street

This is a large condo by New Orleans Warehouse District standards measuring 1778 sq. ft. of living area.  Its a great open space with lots of windows for the corner unit that has two bedrooms and an office.  The office can easily be a guest bedroom room off the den.

The renovation is several old and has been leased for a couple of years.  Its basically a relatively new and updated condo.  There are 12 units in the building which makes for a quiet retreat only 6 blocks from the New Orleans French Quarter. The renoveations were done in 2006-2007 time frame.

The huge den measures 37x24 with wood floors and exposed brick walls.  The highlight of the den is the panoramic views and the light that the many windows lets in.  Perfect of entertaining or just enjoying a large room overlooking Lafayette Street below.

The master bedroom is also large by Warehouse Standards measuring 18x14 with a large walk in closet.  Its not wall paper but professionally painted to give the designer look.

The kitchen is a focal point of the large den with large island so you can enjoy the views while you cook.  Plenty of cabinets and new stainless steel appliances plus a wine cooler.  The island has extra cabinets all the way around for more storage.  The granite counters and tile back splashes give the kitchen that gourmet look.

Garage parking on the first floor.  The entrance is on Lafayette which is a over sized alley with little traffic.  The secure entrance is on Barone Street for entry to the front door.

The condo fee does not include water but does include cable Internet internet connections.  The roof was repaired after Katrina so that is in good shape.  There was no damage but it needed some repairs done.

This is basically a new condo as only one tentant has lived here since the renovation.  It could be three bedrooms as all the rooms have closets but one will make a great office off the den.

You can walk to the new Rouse's Supermarket easily down the street.  The Warehouse District is moving this way.  The new streetcar line will be a few blocks away.  The newly renovated Hyatt Reopened last year.  Many more projects on the way with the largest being the LSU and VA Medical complexs nearby.

Entrance to Lafayette Parking garage.

The Old Civic Theather is now apartments next door on Barone Street.
