    The Sugar Plantation Condos were completed as condos in 2005 in the heart of the New Orleans Warehouse District. The warehouse was completely gutted making the units essentially new condos. The complex sold out in a matter of 48 hours.

   The 43 units had a lot of character with wood beams, some units having exposed brick, some having patios and some having balconies.  The parking garage is on Commerce and all the units have garage parking. There are several elevators that lead to the upper floors.

     The Sugar Plantation has a lot of amenities for a medium size complex.  The condos have a courtyard, swimming pool, gym, party room, secure entrance, and storage rooms on the first floor for all the units. Its a great combination in a great Warehouse District location. You are a building away from Julia Street.

    The kitchen and baths were upscale and larger than most warehouse conversions.  This is because they were build as condos and the buyers were going to use them as their primary residence or family second home.  

    There has been little turnover in the last couple of years.  The area has blossomed since they were built.

     The units on the street were to be commercial spaces. Some have been turned into condos since 2005. You are right next door to Emeril's.
