The Commodore Condos at 3300 St. Charles Ave. are 31 Units converted from a 1920s apartment complex on the corner of St. Charles and Toledano. This 3 story complex was renovated in 2004 and was mainly small one bedroom and studios.   Secure gated parking is in the rear. Courtyard and fountain are center pieces for this complex on the St. Charles Ave. street car line and parade route. The units were updated with stainless steal appliances, granite counter tops, refinished wood floors, with updated baths. Small fitness center for residents. The front faces St. Charles Ave with the gated courtyard. I stopped giveing prices because they have change so much since 2004 when the units were sold for 129-139k range.

The nice things about the complex is that its got secure parking. The units are very privated and are grouped in pods making them very quiet. The units have parking in the rear and the units have that historic feel. The location is on the St. Charles Ave. Street car line and there will be a new bookstore down the street. The one negative is that all the units do not have washer and dryers.
